"The works are intended to invoke archaic revelations that are embedded deep within the human psyche. The artists achieve this by taking on a Shaman like approach to creating objects and paintings. O’Neal and Strasser believe that in order to create an object that conveys an opportunity for transcendence; one must travel to the unknown areas of thought, and bring back symbols and forms that encompass universal meanings. Strasser and O’Neal work intuitively rather than expressively; thus using themselves as a catalyst for the unknown."
